Paska, Pluma Moos & Easter Dinner
Mennonite Girls Can Cook
Thursday, March 21, 7pm
Sorry, Sold Out

$67

If your tastebuds tingle at the word Paska, then this Mennonite Girls Can Cook class is for you.  Lovella's Paska recipe for the traditional Mennonite Easter bread was what originally brought the Girls together to form their blog, and after 6 million hits to date, they are busily working on their second cookbook, to be released in May, 2013.  While you may be the lucky recipient of your Oma's handwritten recipe, "add enough flour to form a soft dough and bake in a moderate oven until done" doesn't help the modern cook recreate this delicious childhood memory.  The Girls will demystify this recipe for you with precise instructions, as well as help you put together an Easter dinner perfect for your family.  Baked Ham with a homemade Mustard Sauce, Creamy Scalloped Potatoes and Pluma Moos,  a cold, and surprisingly healthy fruit soup with dried fruits are sure to put a smile on everyone's face gathered around your dinner table.

Mennonite Girls Can Cook and Lepp Farm Market are donating all proceeds from this class to help equip the kitchen at Matthew’s House  in Abbotsford, BC.
