If you’ve been to the market in summer, you know how busy it is as we serve the many guests who are enjoying the beautiful local produce or preparing for another summer BBQ! We LOVE the hustle and bustle of our busy season, but the steady pace does take its toll on our team, and by September we are all just a wee bit tired as we transition to preparing the market for Thanksgiving and Christmas! That means that while we still have some great options, there just won’t be as many to choose from as Chef Nick and Butcher Jason are taking a short break from classes. I’m so excited to host Gourmet Warehouse’s Caren McSherry; her energetic personality always makes her classes fun, informative and delicious. Angela Boon is back with a few options, as I’m sure we are all looking for a tasty soup or crock-pot recipe to spice up our fall cooking! New to the market kitchen is Chef Calvin Pipping, and we know his “Intro to Thai” class will be a quick sell-out! We are already working on great options for early 2018, but if you’re interested in taking any of these classes, don’t delay as I’m sure they’ll fill up quickly!
