Each student will take home 3-4lbs of their own handmade sausages.

Have you ever wanted to make your own fresh sausages at home, but didn’t know where to start? This class led by our friendly Butcher Jason Lepp and Market Chef Nick will teach you all of the basics on preparing your own hand-made sausages in your own home! Quality sausages are the perfect combination of the right cuts of meat, coarseness of grind, fat ratios, casings, mixing and stuffing techniques and this is your chance to learn from our market pros.  After getting your hands dirty making sausages, you can take off the apron and relax in our kitchen where Market Chef Nick will prepare the sausages using some of his favorite recipes.  Of course you get to sample it all, plus you go home with three to four pounds of fresh sausage you’ve made yourself.

Please note that our cooking classes are demonstration only unless otherwise specified, but remember to bring your appetite, as you get to eat everything the chef makes. Class registration can be processed by phone or at any register at Lepp Farm Market. Tickets sell quickly, so register your spot today as we work on a first come, first serve basis. Payment will be required at the time of registration. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Interac and Cash. Published prices do not include tax.

We realize that life happens and sometimes you will be unable to attend a cooking class you have registered for. If this happens, we require 48-hour notice for any cancellations. Please note that we don’t do reminder phone calls, so be sure to pencil the class you signed up for in your calendar as we are unable to give credits for missed classes. We’re sorry, but at this time we’re unable to guarantee any special requests for dietary restrictions or allergies. All cooking class payments are non-refundable but can be exchanged for equal credit towards another equal-valued cooking class of your choosing or you can use the credit for in-store purchases. Gift certificates can be used on any Lepp Farm Market Event.

It may be necessary that some classes be cancelled by Lepp Farm Market due to unforeseen circumstances. If a class is cancelled by Lepp Farm Market all class fees will be fully refunded.
