Market Events

At Lepp Farm Market we’re all about
creating a culture of connection.

Which is why we love to put on community events every year! After years of doing this, we’ve narrowed it down to four annual events, one for each season. We’d love to see you out this year, come say hi and bring the family! Here’s what we have in store for 2019:

Lepp’s 9th Anniversary Celebration
Spring 2019, exact dates tbd.

When winter is over, it’s time for us to fire up the BBQ and give our neighbours a reason to get outside! We always have lots of free, fun activities at this event, live music, and a little treat to say thank you for your continued support. Even though we opened the market in the late fall, we always celebrate the following spring so that there’s something to look forward to. We think it’s a nice kick-off to the farming season, as local produce is slowly trickling into the market this time of year.

Corn & Peach Festival
Late Summer 2019, exact dates tbd.

We’ve returned to the original name of this event, because no matter how we tried to change it, our whole team kept calling it Corn & Peach Festival. It’s fitting though, since corn and peaches are two major crops that we grow! Corn grows at our farms in Abbotsford, and the peaches grow on our orchard in Osoyoos. We’ll be firing up the BBQ with all of our usual housemade burgers, smokies and hot dogs, plus making Mexican Street Corn. And for all of you bakers out there, be sure to enter our Annual Peach Pie Competition!

Just after Thanksgiving 2019, exact dates tbd.

Every year we invite the Mobile Juice Factory out to Abbotsford all the way from the Okanagan so that you can see apple juice made right in front of you, and taste the fresh pressed apple cider, still warm from the flash-pasteurization. This weekend we’re celebrating the abundant variety of apples grown in the Okanagan, on our own orchard and surrounding. This is always the best weekend to stock up on apples for baking and storing.

Taste of the Market
Beginning of December, exact dates tbd.

The Christmas market for food-lovers! Kicking off the season of entertaining, we invite local food makers out for a weekend of sampling! This is a great way to get ideas and inspiration for your appetizers, plus take advantage of sales around the market on items you’ll want to stock up on for Christmas.
