Pesto Chicken Sliders



12-Pack of Lepp’s Bakehouse dinner rolls

¼ cup Lepp’s fresh pesto

mayonnaise (to taste)

2 cups chicken, cooked and shredded

1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

for the butter topping:

2 Tbsp butter, melted

1 clove minced garlic

1 tsp dried parsley


Preheat the oven to 375.

In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, garlic, and parsley. Set aside.

Slice the dinner rolls in half without separating the rolls. Place the bottom halves onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Spread mayonnaise and fresh pesto over the bottom halves of the dinner rolls.

Spread the shredded chicken on top of the pesto and mayonnaise, then sprinkle the mozzarella over the chicken.

Place the tops of the dinner rolls onto the sliders.

Brush the butter mixture over the tops of the dinner rolls.

Bake for 15 – 20 minutes, or until cheese is melted. Serve warm.
