Strawberry Rhubarb Simple Syrup



2 cups water

2 cups white sugar

4 cups chopped rhubarb (fresh or frozen)

23 cups Lepp’s strawberries (fresh or frozen)


To make simple syrup, place all ingredients in a medium saucepan and stir to dissolve sugar. Bring to a gentle simmer and cook for 30 minutes or so, stirring occasionally. Strain into a sealed glass jar, and refrigerate once cooled.
