If you’ve spent any time on social media lately, you’ve probably seen the viral dill pickle dip making the rounds. We decided to give it a Lepp’s twist, using our famous Lepp’s dill pickles and plenty of Lepp’s double-smoked bacon. Creamy, tangy, smoky, and packed with flavour, it’s the kind of dip that disappears quickly at barbecues, potlucks, and summer gatherings. Try it and see what all the hype is about!

The Viral Dill Pickle Dip

Scale
  • 2 cups finely chopped Lepp’s Dill Pickles (about 1 jar)
  • 2 tbsp Pickle Brine
  • 8oz softened cream cheese
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2-4 tbsp ranch seasoning (based on your taste)
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh dill
  • 1/2 cup Lepp’s Bacon, chopped
  • 1-2 tsp hot sauce of choice – we used Mum’s Okanagan Hot Sauce

Instructions

  1. Place the cream cheese in a large bowl and whip till smooth and easily spreadable.
  2. Add the remaining ingredients and stir to combine.
  3. Place it back into the pickle jar for a fun serving vessel and easy transport!

Notes

Pretty much anything is good dipped into this! But we especially loved it with Hardbite Rugged Natural Chips, Neal Brothers’ Corn Chips, Pretzels, or fresh carrot sticks!

You can use your own homemade pickles for this recipe, or try our new line of pickles! Made from our pickling cukes grown on Lepp Farms in Abbotsford.
