The deli and cafe shift lead sets the tone for the team of deli and cafe clerks: this is someone who loves serving guests, is passionate about food, and is active in solving problems. As a support for the Team Lead and General Manager, the deli and cafe shift lead ensures each team member is effectively completing the day’s tasks, and coaches for great guest experience. If you have experience leading others, are passionate about food and providing a great experience for guests, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
Performance Expectations
Our deli and cafe shift lead leads the way in providing a great guest experience by engaging guests in an authentic, energetic way, getting guests excited about our bakery and deli offerings, while ensuring the team is completing their goals for the day. Working together with the Team Lead and General Manager, this is a support role to ensure operations and team members are running smoothly.
Role Requirements
Relevant experience is always great, especially with retail and hospitality experience, working directly with customers, and leadership experience. We are looking for those who are keen to learn and want to grow in their experience, able to work both independently/autonomously as well as collaboratively with team members.
- Food Safe Level One required within 3 months of hire.
- Must be able to properly lift up to 50lbs.
- Full-Time or Part-Time day time hours (includes weekends)
- Wage: starting at $20 + gratuities
