Craft quality products from nose to tail in the heart of our Meat Team.
A successful Sausage Kitchen team member is passionate about all things meat, takes pride in careful hands-on work, and brings a high level of integrity to every batch they make. Working as part of the Lepp Farm Market Meat Team, they help transform quality ingredients into fresh, smoked, and cooked sausage products our guests know and love.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with purpose, values consistency and craftsmanship, and wants to contribute to a team that wins together, works passionately, shows respect for all, and creates fanatical daymaker moments for guests and teammates alike.
Performance Expectations
Nose-to-tail butchery is one of the many things we do here at the market that sets us apart, adds value to our guests’ experience, and helps us make the most of every animal with care and respect. In the Sausage Kitchen, team members play an important role in that process by following production schedules, safely operating meat processing equipment, and manufacturing fresh, smoked, and cooked sausage products.
From grinding, mixing, cutting, and stuffing to keeping a clean and sanitized workspace, this role requires focus, attention to detail, and strong communication with fellow team members. After a full day of lifting, preparing, producing, and cleaning, Sausage Kitchen team members leave with the satisfaction of knowing they’ve helped create quality products for their community.

Relevant meat-cutting or culinary experience is an asset.
Food Safe Level One required within 3 months of hire.
First Aid Level A with CPR/AED is an asset.
This role requires safe lifting practices and the ability to lift up to 90 lbs. Work in the refrigerator and freezer is required.
Wage band for this position: $20-$25.50/hour
