Effectively lead a team that cares deeply about providing our guests with fresh, quality food, and outstanding customer service.
Our deli and cafe team lead is a reliable consistent leadership presence for the team, supporting the General Manager by providing guidance and training, problem solving, effectively communicating and setting the tone for the team, and tackling organizational tasks such as completing ordering and inventory in a timely manner.
Performance Expectations
Our deli and cafe team lead is someone with a proven record of both offering great guest experience and engaging team leadership. As a player-coach, the team lead is ensuring the team has everything they need to succeed in their roles, while also working side by side with them. The team lead works closely with the General Manager to ensure the store is equipped both operationally and with regards to staffing and team needs.
Role Requirements
We are looking for someone with retail and hospitality experience, working directly with customers, who also has experience effectively leading a team through training and coaching. We are looking for those who are keen to learn and want to grow in their experience, able to work both independently/autonomously as well as collaboratively with team members.
- Food Safe Level One required within 3 months of hire.
- Must be able to properly lift up to 50lbs.
- Full-Time or Part-Time day time hours (includes weekends)
- Wage: starting at $23 + gratuities
