Our packaging & delivery clerks (aka packagers) are behind the scenes team members who assist the Bakehouse team in completing tasks that are integral to the success of our store. Between packaging our Lepp’s product, performing accurate inventory counts, loading, driving, and unloading the delivery van, and working through the daily tasks, there’s never a dull moment. If you love the satisfaction of checking tasks off the list, along with physical work, this is your role.
Performance Expectations
Our packagers hustle to ensure our Lepp’s bakery products are packaged efficiently, but also with care and quality. Our team knows great food, recognizing when something just isn’t up to standards so that only the freshest of products are being offered to our guests. Successful packagers work efficiently through the daily task list, exhibiting great communication skills and teamwork. Winning as a team means filling in wherever needed, whenever possible; packagers also help with bakery tasks such as scooping cookies or icing cakes.
- Food Safe Level One required within 3 months of hire.
- Must be able to properly lift up to 60lbs, repetitively.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License, with a clean driving record
- Must be able to work early mornings and have availability on weekends as well as week days (hours are available Fridays through Tuesdays, 6am to 12pm)
Relevant experience is always great, but we’re more interested in finding keen learners who genuinely love interacting with people & who are passionate about good food!
