This recipe couldn’t be easier or more delicious! The only thing you have to do is quickly cook the ground meat and chop a few toppings. The rich flavour of beef pairs really well with the bright kimchi but you can switch to ground chicken, turkey or pork if you prefer. The kimchi provides a source of fibre and probiotics, which is supportive of your gut health!
The toppings of this rice bowl are designed to complement each other in flavour and texture but you can make any adjustments that work best for your preferences and food availability. Drizzle some soy sauce on top before serving and enjoy!
In a large frying pan on medium heat, add the garlic and ginger and saute for 2-3 minutes or until softened and fragrant.
Add the ground beef and cook for 10 minutes or until cooked through.
Prepare your toppings.
Time to assemble the bowls! Layer the beef on top of the rice and then add the suggested toppings in whatever amounts you prefer! Drizzle a bit of soy sauce on top, season with salt and pepper if needed and enjoy!
