Country Ribs

Ingredients

Scale

2 Pork Butt Shoulder Steaks (boneless/skinless)

Triple Smoke Butchers Blend

1 cup Caliente Fresh BBQ Sauce

1 ½ cup pineapple juice

Instructions

Fire up your BBQ and bring it to medium heat.

Generously season both sides of the pork steaks with Triple Smoke Butchers Blend. Place the steaks straight on the grill for about 10 – 15 minutes, turning them halfway through.

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the BBQ sauce and pineapple juice until thoroughly combined.

Remove pork steaks from the grill, and cut them into approximately 1-inch strips and place them in a skillet or oven-safe tray. Pour the BBQ sauce and pineapple juice mixture over the strips, making sure to not cover the strips entirely.

Cook for about 90 minutes* to a temp of 175F.

Once the desired temperature has been reached, remove the pork from your skillet and place them back onto the grill to tack the sauce up, about 2 minutes on each side. Remove from the grill and enjoy!

Notes

Cook time in the sauce mixture varies quite a bit depending on how thick you cut your pork strips. Make sure to check the temp regularly.

Cut from the shoulder, cooked slow and low, and glazed with bbq sauce, these ribs are not only easy – they’re delicious too! It’s about 2 hours of cook and prep time, which make them perfect for entertaining or a weekend family meal.
