Hot dogs have long suffered from a bad reputation — yet somehow, we all still love them. Whether they’re sizzling on the grill at a backyard BBQ, roasted over a campfire, or served up at the lake on a sunny afternoon, hot dogs are one of summer’s simple pleasures.
At Lepp Farm Market, we believe a really good hot dog starts with really good meat. We’re proud of the care that goes into sourcing our ingredients, as well as the craftsmanship that goes into every batch our butcher team makes by hand.
The pork used in our hot dogs is Fraser Valley-raised pork from trusted local farmers who share our commitment to quality animal care and responsible farming practices.
Our all-beef hot dogs are made using premium Angus beef from our partners at Fossen Bar 7 Ranch in Rock Creek, BC. Their cattle roam freely across thousands of acres of BC grasslands and are raised without added growth hormones or antibiotics. The Fossen family is known for their exceptional environmental stewardship and dedication to raising high-quality beef.
Our hot dogs are made with just meat and spices — no fillers, no binders, and they’re gluten-free, too.
We use only full-muscle meat, which is butcher lingo for premium-quality cuts. In fact, the same meat you’d find in our ground pork or beef goes into our hot dogs. No offal, no snouts, no “mystery meat,” and no discarded trim.
Everything is processed in small batches to ensure freshness and quality in every package.
This summer, we hope you’ll get the chance to enjoy a sizzling, grilled — or, if you’re lucky, roasted-over-an-open-fire — Lepp’s premium hot dog on a lazy sunny day. It’s a simple pleasure, handcrafted by our talented butcher team and made with ingredients you can feel good about serving your family.
